What are VESY candles made from?

As VESY candles are intended as home decor, durability is key. We have ethically sourced a wax that can withstand our sculptures and achieve the highest quality product.  

All VESY candles are made using a performance soy blend wax (as 100% pure soy is too soft to use for sculptural candles) mixed with small portions of sustainably-sourced certified palm wax, medical-grade paraffin wax, and a plant-based additive (to achieve the hardness we require). This means all VESY candles are non-toxic, vegan and sustainable. 

Please note: Paraffin wax is COMPLETELY SAFE AND NON-TOXIC for use. The quality of paraffin used in VESY candle blend is premium, ensuring a clean and even burn. 

Is every VESY candle handmade? 

Yes. All VESY candles are hand-poured using a soy wax blend. Candle wicks are lead free and made from 100% cotton.

My candle has some white frosting + some small bubbles, is this normal?

You may notice some colour variations and/or lighter tones in the wax of your candle. On some occasions, small bubbles may be present from piece to piece. These factors are a normal process of candle-making and do not affect the quality or performance of the product.

As all VESY candles are hand-poured, variances are to be expected. This is part of what makes each piece unique, as no two candles are the same. 

My VESY candles look slightly different to one another, is this normal?

Each VESY candle is specially hand-poured. This means colour and size variations may occur from one piece to another. 

VESY takes no responsibility if individual products differ in appearance to how they appear online. Variances are part of what makes each piece unique - something we value greatly, and hope you do too. 

Do VESY sculptural candles come with scents?

VESY sculptural candles do not come scented due to their intricate forms. The intent of the sculptural candles is to display and admire.

Do the Mati and Horse of Selene candles come in black?

At this stage, the Mati and Horse of Selene candles only come in natural white.

What does production time mean? 

If a product description states a production time this is the estimated time frame in which the product will take to manufacture and arrive to you. We work closely with all artisans at all times. Please see our terms + conditions for further information. 

How do I know if an item I am interested in purchasing is in stock?

If the item you are interested in doesn't state a production/pre-order time in the products description than in most cases the item is in stock and will be dispatched within the stated time frame. Please see our shipping policy for estimated times.

I am interested in a pre-order item, what does this mean?

If an item states that it is a pre-order and you are interested in purchasing, simply add to cart and complete the purchase as per usual. The estimated availability date will be noted in the products description. Once the items are available they will be dispatched and on the way to you. You will receive a tracking notification of your parcel details.
